Thanks. I came home and they both happened to be wearing dresses, which is rather rare. But taking the picture seemed like the thing to do.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Lucy is really quite amazing with Rose.

As for 'what you did'?
Mostly married up.
The question was more of a "Something in my youth...and childhood...I must have done something good" sort of rumination, rather than "How did I have kids?"
I know what you were getting at.
I stand by my answer, and more than anything, you persisted.
