Easy come, easy go on the battery re-charging.
A buttload of stresses, ranging from our hot water currently being in & out of service to an external source of stress I will undoubtedly be blogging about in the next few days, to some odds & ends around some customer service-related nagging issues we're trying to resolve - but probably mostly related to my chronic condition of being underslept, led to be being near the flipping point last night. Sharon suggested I take a day off.
A call into work this morning, and I was free. As of 11:48 am, I've already biked to Steamworks for a waffle, coffee, and read of the morning paper; and then down to the Theodore Wirth mountain bike trails for a trail run and then bike home. It would have been pure "for joy," but for me rolling my ankle twice; the first one just a tweak, and the second one somewhat more severe. I had to walk it off for about five minutes, then gingerly run/limp back to my bike.
I'm getting around OK now, and I think I'm going to be spending the rest of the day attending to some household maintainence things at a leisurely pace.
Peace out.

Sounds like your control valve is acting crazy on your hot water heater.
If your basement is cool and damp you could be getting condensation that drips down and puts out our pilot light.
When was the last time you rolled your ankle seriously? Has it been years or is all the time and we don't hear about it?
I am happy that you had a day off.
Sorry - explanation: the reason that the hot water is in and out is that Sharon's dad is replacing our hot water piping. We will be forever grateful, but he's working a few hours a day on it, and the project is now into week 2.
Rolling the ankle: quite a while since a serious sprain. Rolling the ankle - if I were to venture a guess, I'd say one to three times a year, but it's usually not while running. I think I'm more susceptible right now, since I've not been running realy regularly. I was also on a crazy-assed set of trails with an incredible amount of switchbacks and small elevation change.
Peace back.
Mixx: If we go on a trail run, perhaps we should not do this one. For me, the pain is still too near.
