Proove I Groove (Let's Try This Again)

Been working on my piano jazz since I got a couple of intro starter books from Sharon for Christmas, in and around my dislocated finger. Here's my first attempt at a little combo recording, of Phil Peskett's Proove You Groove.

Sorry man - link doesn't seem to work.

Cybdoman: the belly of a cyborg

or perhaps the unholy prodigy of Scylla and Charibdes

Yes, epic fail. The link, not you.

OK - PutFile seems to be on the fritz. I'm trying a different host. Should work now.

Pretty cool. I wasn't expecting the accompaniment.

My only criticism would be that you might need to 'groove' a bit more, loosen up. Possibly this is just a consequence of it being a new piece of music for you.

mites: definition well known

Not so sure it qualifies as an 'epic' fail.

aingspo: the sperm of Danny Ainge as spoken by Kevin Garnett.

I absolutely agree on the groove. As you could probably tell, the bass was grooving, cause I can play it well. At my best moments, I can smooth out the groove on piano, but for the most part I'm pretty tight (in a bad way), cause I'm just not that technically proficient, yet. I've only been grooving for about three months - minus a few weeks due to injury.

Good job on the definitions likely. And, to dovetail on the Kevin Garnett reference, my word verification is (no kidding) bluchip.
