nice...have you watched an episode yet?

It's sitting in me trunk right now.

Episode will be nice, of course, but we all know LOR trilogy is the Gold Standard.

I am assuming that you bought a new television. Looks nice. What are the dimensions?

Mighty Tom said...

Yes - LOR is the standard, but part three is better for use in disc golf

T-Clog: 26 inches.

And I though it was just his BALLS that were big.

Nice tv.

Did you win this tv? Looks like it would cost a lot of bread.

Bought it. It's a Big Buy-made brand, so the price with my employee discount made the timing just right. It was under $400.

I am glad that you stummbled upon some extra cash! Maybe this is one of those little miricles?

Sure. Miracle, you could say. Miracle in that Sharon agreed (or at least gave her blessing) about the idea that "it is time." I've long stated that I would be getting a TV upgrade (I can't even make out sports scores or subtitles on my old one - even sitting on the floor and scooting forward from my couch a few feet). Between the various factors of flat panel prices finally getting about as low as they're going to get AND my employee discount AND the fact that it looks like we'll be making ends meet (knock on wood), it really seemed like the right timing. Watching movies the way movies are meant to be seen is important to me, enough that I felt it justified this indulgence.
