From a daddy-daughter day on Saturday. On our walks, we always stop for a bit on this little concrete dam and do a little phenology. Usually this includes looking for birds, looking in the water, and closing our eyes and naming off all the things we hear. In the picture above, Lucy is ready to move along and look in the creek for ducks. She is wearing tiny little hiking pants and a long underwear top with little dogs that glow in the dark.

Cool beans. I might be the only one of the gang who has been to that spot before. I like the concrete dam. I wish that I had glow in the dark under clothes!
When did you go there? What is the memory to which you are referring?
The rag-tag fugitive fleet (Mixdorf & Dan running, Gibbs on roller skates, and Cory on the bike) all passed by the spot a few years back.
Your family and I went there on a family hike last summer when I came to put insulation in your attic. We did not just go by there, we walked upon the concrete structure.
I forget in my old age where I hike and with whom. I was probably showing you my usual route with Lucy. The big pond that has muskrats and ducks, then to the creek, then under the bridge, then to the small pond with American Toads, then back home.
