Man, Tea Sucks!

Today I am drinking herbal tea, in an attempt to cut down on coffee consumption. The jury is still out somewhat, though my initial leanings are hidden somewhere within this post.

I've never met a tea I didn't hate.

Tea will never rock your world.

I like it alright, but I can think of no occasion where I thought, "man, I could go for a cup of tea."

Never.

I don't do that often for coffee either, but the high-powered caffeinated jolt has some endearing qualities.

Sharon still drinks her Terrera (cold Paraguayan tea drunk out of a cow horn) and it is pretty strong and wild. It's like drinking pot. Sometimes I'll partake and enjoy it-definitely better than any other teas.

But what is it my British forefathers (and current cousins, I guess) get about tea that we don't?

In contrast to Mixdorf (and Aaron, too, I think), I am in a constant state of "man, I could go for a cup of coffee."

Yeah - I drink coffee, but I don't crave it.

Coffee gives my explosive diaheria. I would rather have beer. Why do lawyers and business people get to have mini-bars in their offices, but a teacher would loose their job if they had a shot at lunch?

You've been watching too much CSI: Miami. I've never, ever had a drink on the job. And when I have, it's only been because my boss is really pissing me off or if an attractive old flame meets me to "do lunch."

Alcoholics meet and have martinis for lunch.

EGA occasionally has beer on Fridays - one of the benefits of working for a small company. We usually make the new person buy beer, but participation has waned over the years.
