I think pretty much everyone I run with knows I am a crier. Such is the way with one who does not stuff his emotions in a bottle. Anyway, I had a funny one this morning. Funny but not funny. I was listening to Michael Jackson from the early to mid 70s. His voice-so amazing, so beautiful. Then, I thought about where he is now & what he's become. Tears.
I'd say, for pure preposterous crying circumstances, that ranks #2 right behind the time I teared up during an episode of "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" where Will tries drugs for the first time. Can't think of too many other things right now. Anyone else care to feel secure enough in their masculinity to add some of their own preposterous circumstances? Can you knock off the reigning #1?
1. Fresh Prince "episode."
2. Early 70s Michael Jackson.

The early results are in. It appears Dan will shed tears for the young black man.
I think I know why the caged bird sings.
Onion plagiarism aside old cagey bird, I find myself welling up way more than I used to or should. Nothing to compare with FPOBA, but just about any story on the radio or TV that involces people overcoming obstacles or working together in an unexpected way. It's crazy. Usually no actual tears, but they're almost there.
Many moments in LOTR - The movies, only the Gray Havens in the books.
This is more a function of youth than anything recent, but a funny one I remember was when I was like 11 or so and the Hawkeyes lost to Wichita State in the NCAA tournament. I was so sure they were screwed by the refs (and so was Lute Olson). I burst into tears, ran down the hall, and flung myself onto my bed.
You guys sound like a couple of pussies! ")
And you sound like a man that is so uncertain as to whether he's gay that he's not willing to let himself cry and find out for sure.
Giving you a hard time. I have cried, but usually to some life drama in a movie or on the news. I'll so you gay you little bastard! :)
TV news makes me cry but maybe not for the same reasons.
Please give us a new blog! I am sick of seeing Michael Jackson's name!
There, how's that?
