We went out to dinner & a movie last night; the movie being "Sideways," a buddy flick that is quite funny and extremely well written & acted. I would recommend it highly.
Two late-30s/early 40s guys together on a road trip. One is a neurotic, divored failed author guy that is super into wine. The other guy is a washed up actor that is getting married in a week that is totally obsessed with getting laid prior to tieing the knot. They go on a tour of wine country north of LA, and have tons of misadventures. Again, written & acted fabulously.
Boy, a dialogue-driven movie about two guys on a wine-tasting tour. Hard to believe it's an indie film, but it is.
Soon to come will be a blog about indie films, and perhaps not long after that will be one about the cultural-elitification of Dan Hylton; good points and bad points.
Not hard to believe it's an indie film, just hard to believe Dan Hylton went to see it.
Knew about it, but haven't seen it. Look forward to its release on DVD.
Haven't been to any movies recently. Meant to see Hero but didn't quite make it. Heard nothing but great things about The Incredibles, an obvious choice on the surface, but it sounds like it may push the genre a bit.

I want to see Sponge Bob and the Polar Express this month. What was the movie you saw about?
